Job Opportunity

GL Global is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our cloud infrastructure on Azure.

We require a skilled professional with a strong background in Azure to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud architectures.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud security principles, governance, and best practices, as well as hands-on experience with cloud management tools and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures on Azure
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cloud governance and security
  • Proactively manage and monitor cloud environments for high availability and performance
  • Develop and enforce cloud security policies, including IAM, encryption, and network security
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and environment issues across multiple cloud platforms
  • Optimise cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies to ensure business continuity

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps or Systems Administrator in cloud environments, with expertise in Azure
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, governance, and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with cloud management tools and automation frameworks
  • Solid understanding of networking, firewall management, identity management, and data protection in cloud environments
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
