About the Role

Holt Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Expeditor to join our team and support the efficient flow of materials through our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update systems and databases with accurate information to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Resolve supply chain issues and find effective solutions to delays and disruptions, minimizing their impact on production.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to foster a collaborative and efficient supply chain environment.
  • Support the Production Manager in progressing and managing parts, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Prioritize workloads and understand processes and lead times within a manufacturing environment to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement, driving continuous growth and innovation.
  • Demonstrate a problem-solving approach, lateral thinking, and a focus on lean initiatives and continuous improvement to drive business excellence.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Support and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Strong PC skills and familiarity with relevant software to efficiently manage supply chain operations.
  • Proven ability to resolve supply chain issues and find effective solutions, demonstrating a high level of problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to prioritize and manage workloads to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive working environment, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities to drive business excellence and continuous improvement.
