The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting practices, with a focus on delivering accurate financial reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable processes, and utilising accounting software to maintain financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
  2. Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, overseeing timely payments and collections.
  3. Accounting Software: Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft to maintain financial records.
  4. Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  5. Strategic Decision-Making: Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  7. Industry Updates: Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in financial legislation that may impact the organisation.
Requirements
  • Accounting Qualification: Qualified accountant, qualified by ACCA.
  • Experience: At least 5 years experience as a senior finance business partner, senior accountant, finance manager or similar role.
  • Financial Management: Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of financial accounting standards and regulations.
  • Accounts Payable Experience: Experience in accounts payable processes and financial services.
  • Mentoring: Proven ability to mentor and develop junior staff members effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
