Cardiac Physiologist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Cardiac Physiologist to lead the successful delivery of a specialist clinical service in Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to Cardiac diagnostic services, contributing to the Directorate/Trust Strategic Plan. Your expertise will involve performing a range of cardiac investigations and therapeutic techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of a specialist clinical service, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to financial initiatives for the department, with financial responsibility for an annual staff/non-staff budget.
- Involvement in equipment tendering processes and authorised signatory for stock and non-stock items/staff.
- BSc Clinical Physiology degree or equivalent.
- BHRS/BSE or relevant professional accreditation with significant experience in a specialist area of Cardiac Diagnostics.
- Expert theoretical and practical knowledge in specialist Cardiac procedures, proven leadership experience, and a detailed understanding of cardiac physiology at a national level.
This is a permanent position, with an estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to training and development opportunities within the trust.
