Job Description:
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced and passionate Special Needs Teacher to join their team at a Specialist SEND School catering for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to make a positive impact on the lives of these students.

About the Role:
We require a teacher who can grow, nurture, and develop children's skills while maintaining good behaviour management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and be able to adapt their approach to meet the individual needs of each child.

Responsibilities:
This role involves working closely with a dedicated team to provide high-quality education and support to students with complex needs. Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of each student
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing regular updates to parents and carers
• Collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
• Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of school policies and procedures

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent qualifications
• Previous experience working in a UK school, preferably in a SEND setting
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate
• Two professional child-related references
