About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our esteemed institution as a Senior Lecturer in Law. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic leadership in the curriculum area, guiding and mentoring colleagues to ensure exceptional teaching and learning standards.
  • Collaborate with senior academics to lead initiatives for curriculum development and improvement.
  • Develop, manage, and review academic programs within the curriculum area.
  • Assess and oversee colleague work, offering guidance to enhance provision quality.
  • Engage in advanced research activities, contributing to the academic profile of William College and staying at the forefront of developments in the field.
  • Participate in university/ESL research programs, fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Implement and monitor self-assessment processes to continuously improve teaching and learning standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement strategies.
  • Establish strong links with external stakeholders, industry partners, and employers to enhance student experiences and collaborative initiatives.
  • Represent ESL at external forums, contributing to the institution's reputation and standing.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A doctoral qualification in a relevant subject area.
  • A teaching qualification such as FHEA or PGCHE, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
Competencies and Expertise

The successful applicant must demonstrate competence and experience in subjects including statistics, ICT, accounting, finance, law, and economics.

Salary: £50,000 (Estimated based on experience and qualifications)

Location: On-site, Luton, UK

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (3 days a week)
