About this role


We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineering Manager for Clinical Trials and Validation, to join our dynamic R&D team at Blatchford.


Key responsibilities



  • Lead the definition and execution of Clinical Evaluations and studies for our products.
  • Develop and drive the roadmap for the R&D clinical team to achieve superior clinical outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement processes and approve technical documentation.
  • Ensure effective technical leadership and communication with management and peers.
  • Manage allocated budget and resources.

What you'll need



  • MSc in Biomechanics or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in biomechanical principles and leading gait lab teams.
  • Proven experience in executing clinical trials and clinical evaluations for medical devices.
  • Experience with MDD/MDR and ISO-13485/ISO-14971.
  • Breadth of understanding across engineering domains.
  • Naturally inquisitive and a positive team player.
