SEN Support Staff Role

We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to provide individualized support to students in a SEN setting. The successful candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  2. Work closely with students to promote their academic and personal development.
  3. Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
  4. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Familiarity with secondary school curriculum and structures.
  2. Minimum six months' experience as a teaching assistant in a UK-based educational setting.
  3. Possession of a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable.
  4. Professional references from previous employers or placements.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. A genuine passion for education and supporting students' learning journeys.

Estimated Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum
