Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is £56,900 - £76,087 per annum, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Digital Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) within our organisation.
The successful candidate will have a key role in ensuring the safe, clinical, and cost-effective use of medicines, leveraging their expertise in digital skills to support system configuration, maintenance, and optimisation.
- Provide specialist knowledge and experience to support ePMA system development, configuration, and ongoing optimisation.
- Contribute to the design of new ways of working associated with ePMA and other related systems, ensuring maximum levels of safety and quality.
- Develop and deliver specialist training to the workforce interacting with the ePMA system.
- Lead on promoting professional nursing agendas relating to medicine safety and excellence in practice.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are written and ratified prior to system implementations and remain valid and appropriate throughout product delivery.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- Possess extensive knowledge and appreciation of national policies and standards.
- Have evidence of highly developed specialist nursing knowledge underpinned by theoretical knowledge and relevant experience.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Post-Grad certificate in Independent Prescribing.
- Experience of ePMA systems or similar digital solutions.
- Knowledge and practical experience of a wide range of digital systems.
