About the Role:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with students who have a range of needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism, ADHD, and other conditions. Your role will involve providing individual and group support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group support to students with SEN
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation
- Help students with their learning, including reading, writing, and numeracy
- Support students with their social and emotional needs
- Work with teachers to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g. childcare, education)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm and patient approach
- Ability to work as part of a team
