Job Overview

NDA is seeking a skilled Day-to-Day Financial Support professional to join our finance team in Winchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of several companies within the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and post financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Compile and submit VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by analyzing financial data and providing insights.
  • Manage balance sheets, preparing draft financial statements, including trial balances, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in practice or industry, preferably with AAT qualifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • A full driving license, with flexibility to work at other locations as required.
  • Education: English and Maths GCSEs (or equivalent).

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
