Job Duties:
  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering educational activities
  • Assisting students with learning tasks and activities
  • Supervising students during lessons and break times
  • Helping to create a positive learning environment
  • Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of educational principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Higher education qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Additional training in child development or teaching techniques
Working Conditions:

The role involves working part-time hours in a school setting, assisting teachers and students during educational activities. The position may require standing for long periods and occasional lifting of educational materials.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
