Job Title: Deputy Risk Lead

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the organization's compliance with IR(ME)R 2017 and IRR 2017 regulations. They will be responsible for establishing and maintaining systems for the management of research activities in imaging, supporting wider research across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in research management committees and support the lead in implementing specific service developments identified as a result of research projects or evidence-based medicine.
  • Provide leadership support for the local Radiation Protection Supervisors in each site, ensuring services provided are safe and meet regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to reviewing business and service performance, reporting on Nursing/AHP performance to the senior leadership team.
  • Support the Head of Nursing/AHP's in the management of complaints/patient safety incidents, including safeguarding.

Requirements:

  • Be a role model and leader to all staff within their specialities and across the wider Care Group, particularly for the Nursing and AHP profession.
  • Demonstrate a values-led attitude, a coaching style of leadership, and a high level of skill in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Support implementation of appraisal and development plans for all Nursing/AHP colleagues within your designated team.
