About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Humand Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for refining and improving our existing industry-leading product range, as well as bringing new ventures to life.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small, growing team that is renowned for precision and delivery in a commercial setting that prioritizes safety for everyone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality firmware and software for safety-critical applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components
  • Develop and maintain embedded systems, including PCB design and layout
  • Ensure compliance with safety and reliability regulations, including UL, CE, and ISO standards
  • Contribute to the development of new products and features, working closely with our design and engineering teams
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in product design, PCB layout, embedded software, and firmware development
  • Strong understanding of safety-critical systems, including fire safety systems and HVAC systems
  • Experience with CAD tools, such as Altium, Eagle, and KiCad
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems, firmware testing, and functional safety
  • Familiarity with safety testing equipment and procedures
