We Do Group is looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for delivering accurate management accounts, handling technical aspects of month-end, and supporting the Financial Controller with year-end compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process and deliver timely, insightful financial information to the business.
• Handle complex revenue recognition, intangible asset amortisation, and inter-company trading.
• Support the Financial Controller with year-end compliance tasks, including audit and IFRS statutory account reviews.
• Assist the Financial Controller and external tax advisors with tax-related reporting, such as R&D tax credits and VAT returns.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner for selected Studios and Head Office teams.
• Play a lead role in the annual budgeting and internal forecasting processes.
• Manage two Junior Accountants, overseeing their day-to-day deliverables and long-term professional development.

Requirements:

• Actively studying or recently qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Advanced Excel skills, ideally with exposure to Power Query and complex formulas.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise various deliverables.
• Analytical, with a strong attention to detail and high numerical proficiency.
