Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse - Mental Health Hospital

We are seeking a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team in a complex care facility providing high-quality care to patients with enduring mental health problems.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide individualized care to patients with a range of mental health conditions, including dementia and Huntington's disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Work closely with the ward manager and other healthcare professionals to support staff wellbeing and development.
  • Develop an understanding of managing a shift with the guidance of the ward/departmental sister/charge nurse.
  • Complete the first-level assessment of patients' needs and document these on the care plan.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate programs of care from admission through to discharge/transfer.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 6 months' experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and an active NMC PIN.
