Education Specialist

About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our team, working across designated schools in Sunderland to provide low-intensity interventions, group work, and whole school approach activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support the implementation of a Whole School Approach within the school setting to embed a positive emotional health culture and ethos.
- Provide individual and group work using brief therapeutic tools and models, offering consultation, advice, and signposting to ensure children, young people, and their families are referred to services that meet identified needs.
- Contribute to the development of clear referral pathways that support the emotional health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner qualification, as well as experience of working in a community setting and a good working knowledge of Safeguarding.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
