Job Title: Lecturer in Clinical Practice

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Clinical Practice to join our team at Robert Gordon University. As a Lecturer in Clinical Practice, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of pharmacy courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy, with experience in teaching and education. You will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and delivery of teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as participating in research and service development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Participate in research and service development
  • Develop and maintain expertise in subject areas
  • Establish and maintain relevant professional and industrial links
  • Teach and assess students on campus and online
  • Contribute to the development of courses and curricula
  • Participate in quality assurance procedures
  • Represent the university on external bodies
Requirements
  • PhD and/or relevant research experience
  • Experience of education and training
  • Experience of developing, delivering, and evaluating healthcare services and public health initiatives
  • GPhC Registrant with annotation as Pharmacist Independent Prescriber or equivalent registration with other healthcare regulatory bodies
