Opportunity to Build a High-Performance Treasury Function

Our client, a leading UK-based financial services provider, is seeking an experienced Treasury professional to establish and lead its Treasury function. The successful candidate will be responsible for building out the team, developing cash management strategies, and ensuring optimal liquidity positioning across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective cash flow forecasting models using Excel and Power BI.
  • Maintain liquidity across facilities to ensure efficient cash positioning for business operations.
  • Lead securitisation activities, including structuring funding transactions and negotiating with funders.
  • Collaborate with business managing directors to align Treasury operations with broader business objectives.
  • Manage bank account administration across the group, ensuring seamless integration with banking partners.
  • Oversee and develop a Treasury team, promoting accountability in reporting and performance.
  • Ensure alignment with Treasury policies and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Treasury policies and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous treasury experience in a lending or financial services business.
  • Knowledge of treasury operations, liquidity management, IRRBB, secured funding, or securitisation structures.
  • Able to inspire the treasury team, influence the wider business, and drive positive change.
  • ACT/ACCA/CertBalm or equivalent qualification.
