Job Title: Class 1 Night Driver

Gregory Distribution is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Night Driver to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers using single and double deck trailers.
  • Plan routes on a day-to-day basis to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks using company-provided phones.
  • Maintain regular communication with the transport team to update progress and manage customer expectations.
  • Attend regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
  • Be in possession of a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience in delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
  • Provide excellent customer service and work well under pressure.
  • Be flexible and willing to work varied shifts, including nights.
  • Have good geographical knowledge and be able to navigate using maps and GPS.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including being fit and able to lift heavy loads.
