AECOM's Impact Assessment Practice Area (IAPA) team is a dynamic and innovative group of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality environmental impact assessments for infrastructure projects. Our team is part of the Environment & Sustainability (E&S) business, which provides environment and sustainability solutions for public and private sector clients.

We are currently recruiting graduates to join our Birmingham office for a February 2025 start. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including sustainable energy generation and distribution, and water distribution.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking individuals with a strong academic background in environmental impact assessment, environmental economics, environmental management, or a related field. You should have a good understanding of the potential for digital solutions to assist in tackling environment and sustainability challenges.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Relevant first or post-graduate degree
  • Good understanding of digital solutions for environment and sustainability challenges
  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure and respond to changing project demands
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work as a team and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong research and report writing skills
  • Ability to summarise technical information effectively
  • Strong numerate skills
  • Self-starter and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and develop
