About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at WSH Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook dishes according to our recipes and standards, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met at all times.
  • Station Management: Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with all team members, providing coaching and support to junior chefs to enhance their skills and development.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including your designated area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with all team members.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility to meet changing demands.
