Disability Assessor Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work as a Clinical Assessor in Scunthorpe. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, discuss, and report on how conditions impact daily living through face-to-face and telephone assessments.

About the Role:
  • Strong report writing and communication skills are essential for this position
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills are required to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in typing and IT systems is necessary for accurate data entry
  • Commitment to integrity and high-quality service delivery is expected
Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and develop individualised care plans
  • Conduct face-to-face and telephone assessments to gather information
  • Discuss assessment results with clients and stakeholders
  • Report on assessment outcomes and recommendations
Requirements:
  • Current, unrestricted NMC registration is required
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) qualifications are essential
  • Applications also welcome from HCPC Registered Paramedics, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists
  • Minimum 1-year post-registration UK experience (NHS or private healthcare) is preferred
Salary Information:

The starting salary for this role is £37,500, with the potential for up to £43,450 depending on meeting eligible criteria, including hybrid working, increases, and optional overtime.
