Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Gap Technical Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a maintenance management plan to minimize downtime and costs. They will also oversee maintenance and repair activities, including breakdowns, inspections, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a maintenance management plan to minimize downtime and costs.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair activities, including breakdowns, inspections, and upkeep.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate maintenance workers, and ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Communicate with upper management about problems or issues that impact production.
  • Ensure that spare parts, components, and tools needed for maintenance are always available.
  • Work closely with production to plan and complete maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a FMCG environment (highly desirable).
  • Food and beverage experience (highly desirable).
  • Multi-skilled engineer.
  • Apprentice-trained.
  • HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Leadership/management qualification or proven experience within the role.
