Cloud Test Specialist Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Test Specialist to join our dynamic team at Helvar. As a Cloud Test Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of IoT cloud-based systems and applications through rigorous testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test plans for cloud-based applications and services, covering functional, performance, security, and scalability testing.
  • Conduct testing in AWS cloud environments to ensure compatibility, performance, and security compliance.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable delivery of cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects or issues early in the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor cloud environments during testing, document results, and generate reports that highlight areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in testing cloud-based systems and applications, with a practical knowledge of end-to-end testing preferably AWS.
  • Experience of planning and executing tests from business requirements and epic definition.
  • Experience of working with test automation frameworks such as Pytest and Cypress.
  • Experience of working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyse test results to recommend corrective actions.
