Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at Neve Fleetwood. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of fresh fish products.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position with an estimated salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and negotiation, with a proven track record of managing supplier relationships and achieving cost savings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source high-quality fresh fish products from reputable suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure best value for Neve Fleetwood.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or logistics.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Strong negotiating and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
