Job Title: Material Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Inventory Coordinator to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a Material Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring accurate and efficient stock control systems, and maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stock levels, receipts, and issues.
  • Stock Control: Ensure that stock levels are maintained at agreed levels, re-ordering materials as required using SAP.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist with the safe and efficient operation of the stores warehouse and surrounding areas, ensuring efficient utilization of space and meeting quality, budgetary, and environmental objectives.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and oils are stored safely.
  • Delivery and Dispatch: Assist with the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and handling of all equipment within the stores area, including deliveries and forward dispatch.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and inspect all stores mechanical handling equipment.
  • On-Call Rota: Participate in an on-call rota, required to carry a pager and be no more than one hour's travel time away from Wytch Farm.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas.

Key Requirements:

  • Warehouse/Stores Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or stores environment, with a sound knowledge of inventory management programs.
  • Computerized Stock Management Systems Experience: Experience with computerized stock management systems, preferably SAP.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer systems and software.
  • FLT Licence/Experience: Possession of a FLT licence or experience in operating fork lift trucks.
  • Full UK Driving Licence: Possession of a full UK driving licence.
