Job Description:

In this pivotal role, you will lead our compliance and risk management framework, ensuring we operate at the highest regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embed a strong compliance culture aligned with FCA requirements, ensuring all aspects of the business reflect integrity and regulatory excellence.
  • Oversee and enhance the risk management framework, identifying key risks and supporting the Board and Audit & Risk Committee in addressing them effectively.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, conduct horizon scanning, and provide expert guidance to business areas to ensure full compliance.
  • Lead the firm's approach to Consumer Duty, including delivering the annual Consumer Duty Report.
  • Deliver compliance and data protection training while collaborating with teams to explore new market opportunities, products, and pricing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in compliance and risk leadership, including SMF 16 status.
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations.
  • A track record of implementing and managing compliance frameworks and risk strategies within financial services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, including the Board.
  • Organized and analytical, with expertise in regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring.

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
