Job Summary

Tangent International is seeking a highly skilled FTTx Site Supervisor to oversee the execution of civils projects in the United Kingdom - Cornwall region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all field activities are carried out in accordance with agreed designs, working practices, and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Daily on-site supervision of installation/build progress, ensuring adherence to agreed milestones and quality standards.
  • Documentation Management: Review and interpret build packs, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with applicable requirements.
  • Resource Management: Manage Build Partner engagement, ensuring the availability of necessary resources and expertise to meet planned milestones.
  • Quality Assurance: Validate all works completed by Build Partners, ensuring they meet acceptable quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with SROH/HAUC regulations and CDM Regulations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Full UK driving license, previous supervisory experience on large UK FTTx projects, and a good understanding of utility infrastructure.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of method statements and risk assessments, comprehensive knowledge of CDM Regulations, and proficiency in relevant tools (e.g., RoT/WF).
  • Certifications: SA001 Safety Overhead, SA002 Safety Underground, Asbestos awareness, NRSWA Supervisor level, and SSSTS/SMSTS.
