Key Responsibilities- Deliver person-centred care to residents, supporting them to enjoy a good quality of life.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
- Assist residents with their daily needs, including personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
- Support residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
- Contribute to the daily records of residents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
- Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment, preferably in a residential or nursing setting.
- Care certificate or equivalent, or a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
- Good knowledge of care practices, including the care of older people and the 6 principles of care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating self-motivation and confidence.
