As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, supporting them to enjoy a good quality of life.
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Assist residents with their daily needs, including personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
  • Support residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Contribute to the daily records of residents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment, preferably in a residential or nursing setting.
  • Care certificate or equivalent, or a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Good knowledge of care practices, including the care of older people and the 6 principles of care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating self-motivation and confidence.
