We are seeking a skilled Grounds Person to join our team at First Military Recruitment Ltd. Located in Ulverston, Cumbria, this role involves maintaining park grounds to the highest quality and standard for our guests.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful environment and contribute to guest advocacy and customer satisfaction. As a Grounds Person, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining park grounds, including lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas.
  • Delivering a 'breath of fresh air' experience for our guests through the upkeep of beautiful grounds and gardens.
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all work areas are presented and managed to the highest level at all times.
  • Responding out of hours to guest queries to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
  • Working under guidance and instruction from the park manager to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
  • Undertaking lawn maintenance throughout the park, including mowing, watering, fertilising, and spraying as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Great customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of using a wide range of machinery and hand tools.
  • Maintenance experience is essential.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £26,500 per annum.
