Role Overview
As a Placement Quantity Surveying Specialist, you will engage in daily site activities and report to senior engineers. You will collaborate with industry experts to deepen your understanding of your project and contribute to the submission of weekly financial forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with analysing subcontract quotations and reviewing conditions and/or qualifications prior to submission of a tender.
- Assist with the preparation of interim applications, including works executed, materials on site and works by subcontractors.
- Assist with contract variations and help evaluate and measure these with Senior Quantity Surveyors.
- Assist with the procurement of subcontractors and generating payments.
- Contribute to the submission of weekly financial forecasting, including the assembling of contract costs.
Requirements
- Studying a Quantity Surveying degree.
- Hold a full manual UK driving license.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in the commercial aspects of engineering and looking for a dynamic workplace that provides an outstanding career opportunity.
- Excellent communication skills, be able to work flexibly in a team and be a hard worker.
