Risk Governance Expert

At Ageas, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Risk Governance Expert. The Underwriting Risk and Governance team is part of Technical Underwriting Delivery and Governance, sitting within Underwriting Services.
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to contribute to the robust oversight of Ageas' products and their value to our customers. The successful candidate will be involved in data collection, cleansing, and analysis, requiring strong technical expertise and analytical skills.
The role also involves governing how our products are distributed to customers, ensuring that distributors and co-manufacturers meet their regulatory requirements and align with Ageas' risk appetite. This includes remuneration and other factors that may impact our ability to meet regulatory requirements.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the completion of regular and ad-hoc regulatory tasks, such as MID compliance, and managing Risk Events and UW operational risks as needed.
As a Risk Governance Expert, you will work closely with senior colleagues, including Senior Risk and Governance Underwriters and the Underwriting Risk and Governance Manager. You will be expected to deputise for these roles and provide support to the Head of Technical Delivery and Governance when required.
To succeed in this role, you will require a good degree of numeracy, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret and present data effectively. Self-motivation, proactivity, and a desire to learn are essential qualities for this position.
