Pursue a Career as Lead Engineering Specialist

As a Lead Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the integration of systems and ensuring seamless delivery of complex projects.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks, from developing estimates for the scope of work and resources required to delivering bids and proposals, to managing programme status and identifying problem areas.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of estimates for the scope of work and resources required to deliver bids, proposals, and project planning activities
  • Ensuring programme status is reported accurately, identifying problem areas, and implementing recovery plans, including change embodiment activities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and drive technical and operational performance
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of MBSE processes and practices in defence or closely linked industries
  • Familiarity with engineering lifecycle phases and awareness of entire lifecycle
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations
  • Experience working with Systems Engineering modelling tools, such as Enterprise Architect (EA), and SysML

We offer a competitive salary range of £85,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an attractive benefits package, including a pension scheme, employee share plans, and flexible health and wellbeing benefits.
