Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our dynamic Projects delivery team across our two BAE customer sites in Preston.

As a Senior Project Manager at Mitie, you will be responsible for managing a team of Project and Assistant Project Managers, delivering multiple projects for our BAE customer. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation
  • Identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM)
  • Providing regular project updates and reports to stakeholders

You will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive teams towards excellence. Your expertise in project administration will be matched by a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

A strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, are crucial for navigating complex project challenges effectively.
