Our IT infrastructure plays a critical role in supporting our business operations. As a proactive Windows System Engineer, you will be responsible for driving automation, security, and efficiency across the IT infrastructure in a collaborative working environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and support enterprise Windows Server solutions (Entra ID, Exchange, Endpoint Manager, Teams, Conditional Access) to meet organizational needs and following best practices
  • Manage and optimize the Windows server estate, focusing on on-prem infrastructure based on VMware/Nutanix AHV and also cloud infrastructure platforms (Azure / AWS)
  • Perform system maintenance, such as applying patches and updates to ensure availability, optimal performance and security of IT infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify/resolve issues
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system setup, configuration, procedures and changes
  • Implement and manage security platforms including endpoint protection and patch management to protect data and shared IT infrastructure
  • Manage backup solutions to ensure data recovery and resiliency
  • Work as part of the Infrastructure and Systems Engineering team to plan and execute larger IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Working in Financial Services, preferably in a similar role or as a Windows System Administrator
  • Technical Skills: Active Directory Services (DNS/DHCP/FSMO/ADFS/SSO/ADCS), networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN), scripting skills (PowerShell, Batch scripting), good knowledge of AWS Infrastructure and Linux administration
  • Personal Qualities: Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, ability to troubleshoot systems issues and applications in a logical and level-headed manner, highly self-motivated and directed, with a keen attention to detail

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This is a competitive salary range for this role, considering the company's size, industry, and location.
