Aircraft Painter Job RoleThe Recruitment Co. is currently seeking a qualified Aircraft Painter to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
About the Role:This role involves applying primer, top coat paint, and sprayed coatings to aircraft parts to ensure compliance with specifications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to document work performed in writing.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply primer, top coat paint, and sprayed coatings to aircraft parts ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Perform minor filling operations to enhance the cosmetic appearance of aircraft parts.
- Support and drive projects, as well as engage in Continuous Improvement activities.
- Be flexible to adapt to changing business needs and work varying shift patterns as required.
- Learn good scope of work documentation procedures and gain working knowledge of parts within evaluation period.
- Ensure quality and accomplishment of own work.
- Safely perform duties under deadlines, handling multiple priorities while maintaining airworthiness and accuracy of documentation and parts control.
- Prior experience in aircraft manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reading manufacturer's specifications, overhaul manuals, and part specific planning.
- Ability to document work performed in writing.
- Strong arithmetic and English skills, with attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Computer skills to access repair documents online and use in-house production applications.
The estimated salary for this position is £26,775 per annum, plus £80 per week shift allowance when required.
