Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Description

Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the water industry.

About the Role:

  • Manage measurements, valuations, and agreements for water industry projects.
  • Prepare tender submissions for subcontract works packages.
  • Oversee projects commercially from bid to final accounts.
  • Maximise commercial efficiency on projects.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the supply chain.
  • Negotiate contracts and packages.
  • Collate monthly contract reports.
  • Support junior Quantity Surveyors.

Requirements:

  • Relevant surveying degree or qualification.
  • Familiarity with NEC forms of contract.
  • Good IT literacy with competency in Excel.
  • Previous experience in the water industry (preferred but not essential).
