About the Role

TOTALLY is a leading provider of national urgent care and out of hospital services. We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated Healthcare Service Manager to join our team in Staffordshire.

Job Description
  • As a key member of our Regional Team, you will play an essential role in supporting and managing a team of multi-disciplinary staff, ensuring the provision of a high quality, safe and accessible Integrated Urgent Care service to patients.

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis. You will work collaboratively with Operational and Clinical Management Teams to ensure delivery of a safe, responsive service to patients and that key performance indicators are being met.

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for team management and optimal performance of direct reports to achieve maximum network efficiency, and achievement of KPIs and quality indicators.
  2. Work collaboratively with Operational and Clinical Management Teams to ensure delivery of a safe, responsive service to patients and that key performance indicators are being met.
  3. Support staff recruitment and rota cover activities to ensure required levels of staffing are in place.
  4. Ensure all direct reports complete all relevant statutory and mandatory training.
  5. Supervise, support and coach individuals to ensure delivery of high quality, safe care and quality standards are being met by your team.
  6. Provide an escalation referral point for queries relating to calls/cases.
  7. Support the implementation of service and organisational processes, policies and guidelines, ensuring they are adopted and embedded within your team.
Qualifications, Experience & Training
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification and/or have significant relevant work experience.
  • Able to demonstrate relevant work experience related to the role in supervisory/leadership capacity.
  • Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills; able to engage effectively with people at different levels and professional backgrounds.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work, lead and motivate in a team environment.
