About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Roofer Supervisor to join our team at Nationwide Specialist Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading reactive and planned maintenance jobs, working at height safely, and ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading teams on reactive and planned maintenance jobs
- Working at height safely on a daily basis
- Cladding, Commercial, Traditional & Industrial Roofing maintenance
- Guttering repairs / replacement
- Flexibility with working hours, including early starts, late finishes, and some weekends
- Availability to be on call on a rota basis
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Pride in workmanship and accountability
- Utilising portable devices to undertake dynamic risk assessments on site and preparing reports on completed works.
Requirements:
- IPAF (1b 3a eb)
- CSCS labourer or skilled worker
- PASMA
- Driving Licence
- First aid
- SSSTS
- NVQ (Slating & Tiling/Sheeting & Cladding)
Essential Skills:
- Prior experience in external reactive building maintenance, identifying leaks & rectification (pitched roofing, guttering, slating, concrete tiling, flat roofing & commercial sheeted roofs)
