Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance efforts and improve operational standards.

About the Role:

  • This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities, including event-related tasks, across company buildings, car parks, and external properties.
  • You will be responsible for performing electrical system installations, troubleshooting, and repairs in compliance with current IEE regulations, as well as supervising a multi-skilled facilities management team and contractors to ensure high-quality work.
  • Key responsibilities also include managing hygiene services, legionella control, and waste disposal operations, conducting and supervising required tests and inspections, and planning and overseeing preventive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC systems, life safety equipment, and building fabric.
  • Additionally, you will ensure compliance during annual service provider tests and inspections, act as a first responder for emergency call-outs, and implement and enforce the companys health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Finally, you will monitor and ensure service providers adhere to agreed scopes of work and follow approved risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).

About You:

  • To be successful in this role, you will need relevant qualifications or certifications in Electrical Installations, along with practical, hands-on experience, preferably in publicly accessible buildings.
  • Your background as a qualified electrician and proven experience supervising a multi-disciplinary facilities management team will be essential assets in this position.
