Full Stack Engineer

About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Options Technology. This is a full-time position based in Belfast.
Key Responsibilities
- To design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using modern backend languages such as PHP 8, Node.js, and Python.
- To work with large datasets (100GB+) and ensure data security best practices.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have one to two years' experience in a related role or through equivalent collaborative project.
- They must have previous work experience with PHP and MySQL, including experience with large datasets.
- A strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design, Microservices, API design, and refactoring is essential.
- The candidate should have knowledge of web application security practices and modern web frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, Django, etc.
- A degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Computer Science, or comparable scientific discipline is required.
