Job Description

As a Senior Electrical Technician for Commercial Projects, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting systems.
  • Conducting diagnostics and troubleshooting of streetlight electrical issues.
  • Carrying out electrical testing to ensure streetlight systems are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Installing, connecting, and maintaining electrical wiring for street lighting circuits and related control systems.
  • Responding promptly to reports of outages or faults.
  • Working on a variety of public and private sector projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulations, and client specifications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 18th Edition Certification
  • NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent
  • AM2 Qualification
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection Certification
  • Experience working on street lighting or similar outdoor electrical systems is highly desirable.
  • Full UK Driving License

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience.
