This exciting opportunity is part of a project focused on providing the skills, resources, and funding needed for community groups to become sustainable and deliver essential services to young people and their communities.
The salary range for this position is £26,500 - £28,000 (pro rata) per annum, reflecting the challenging nature of the role. In return, you will receive a competitive benefits package, including 25 days' holiday in addition to statutory Bank Holidays (pro rata), and two additional days of personal leave per year for religious holidays and/or wellbeing days.
You will play a crucial role in establishing sustainable solutions that benefit the area and its people beyond the five years of the project. Specifically, you will work to address the challenges of rural deprivation, helping groups create opportunities for young people to become physically active.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience executing charitable strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of capacity building practices, such as fundraising and organisational development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
