Key Job Duties:

  • Undertaking routine and emergency maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, focusing on efficiency and safety.
  • Using sophisticated diagnostic tools to identify and address potential issues before they cause equipment failure.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors to plan and execute maintenance schedules, maximising productivity and minimising downtime.
  • Carefully conducting tests and inspections to ensure plant systems operate reliably and safely.

Essential Requirements:

  • A proven track record of working effectively in fast-paced industrial environments, ideally within the power generation sector.
  • A strong educational background in mechanical engineering, including relevant certifications like NVQ Level 3 / HNC.
  • An ability to adjust to changing work schedules, including extended hours and weekend duties when required.
