Ecologist Leader

Purpose and Scope:

The Senior Ecologist role at Penguin Recruitment involves leading various projects across East England, focusing on impactful, practical solutions. This position is ideal for an experienced ecologist seeking to grow their career and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and support junior ecologists, ensuring quality and consistency across all projects.
2. Project Management: Lead a diverse range of projects, delivering timely, client-centred ecological solutions.
3. Field Surveys: Plan and execute advanced fieldwork, focusing on protected species and habitat surveys.
4. Client Engagement: Build strong client relationships, offering expert, customized ecological advice.
5. Reporting & Compliance: Prepare detailed, compliant reports to facilitate planning and development processes.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Qualifications: Degree in ecology or a related field, plus CIEEM membership.
2. Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and perform advanced ecological surveys.
3. Expertise: Strong understanding of ecological legislation and field survey methods.
4. Protected Species License(s):
