GLG Vets is an experienced veterinary team of 5 dedicated professionals, led by our practice owner and veterinarian, Helen. With a wealth of knowledge gained over the past two decades, we pride ourselves on extensive case discussions and providing support to our colleagues whenever needed.

We work closely with our skilled nursing team, comprising 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN), who are encouraged to utilize their skills to the fullest, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.

Team Well-Being

We prioritize team well-being, reflected in our diary arrangements, which allow for thorough case work-ups and necessary downtime during the day. Our practice features a beautiful garden area for relaxation, an indoor colleague space for colder days, a well-being board for team recognition and organizing social events, mental health first aiders available for support, regular practice and vet meetings to facilitate input into our ways of working, and WhatsApp chat groups for additional case discussions and support.

Accreditations and Client Care

We hold RCVS accreditation, boasting notable achievements, including Outstanding status for Client Service and Team and Professional Responsibility from the RCVS, and ISFM accreditation at bronze level from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM). Our commitment to client care has resulted in a friendly and loyal client base, with a significant percentage of insured pets, allowing us to keep cases in-house where appropriate. We welcome peripatetic specialists, including an orthopaedic surgeon, ultrasonographers, and cardiologists, providing continuity and high standards of care within our practice.

Competitive Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of £60,000 - £80,000, reflecting the demands and responsibilities of this role.
