We're Osbit, a leading engineering company in the offshore wind sector. We design and build cutting-edge solutions to enable key operations such as wind turbine foundation installation, subsea cable burial, and lifting & handling of wind turbine components.

Job Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the assembly, commissioning, and testing phases of our projects. This role involves ensuring seamless integration and full operational readiness of our engineering solutions, working closely with our design, fabrication, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration and testing of complex equipment.
  • Conduct site inspections and testing to verify subsystem and system performance and compliance with design specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning process and offshore trials.
  • Provide onsite, offshore, and office-based technical support and training to customers and end-users on the operation and maintenance of commissioned equipment.
  • Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of commissioning activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Project Owners to ensure commissioning milestones are achieved within project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve commissioning processes and methodologies.

  • A solid team player with a holistic view.
  • Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges. Cross-disciplinary training provided.
  • Willingness to travel to offshore sites and customer locations as required.
