Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role

Synergi Search & Select Ltd is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a large manufacturer near Accrington.

The successful candidate will join the Engineering Team on a 4 on 4 off basis working an average of 42 hours per week.

This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter to work in an award-winning business with progression and training options.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Job Description:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing reactive and planned maintenance and ensuring standards are met. Repair of site machinery with electrical and mechanical multi-skilling will be required. You will be aware of the pressures involved and have a proactive approach to electrical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mechanical Maintenance
  2. Preventative maintenance
  3. Health & Safety

Requirements:

To be suitable for this position, the ideal Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will have experience in the below:

  1. A UK Recognised engineering qualification
  2. Worked in either Food, Pharmaceutical, Automation, General FMCG
