Product Design and Development Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team at Laboris Solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products, working closely with internal departments to support the introduction of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop fit-for-purpose components, sub-systems, and assemblies of specialist systems
  • Provide mechanical design input to develop new systems and mechanisms or improve existing ones
  • Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFM & DFA) to ensure efficient production processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of manufacturing documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly techniques and processes
  • Knowledge of Materials Resource Planning (MRP) and Engineering Change Request processes
  • Broad knowledge of engineering and materials technology, with a focus on design for manufacture
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
